Comment on the applicable Maine Community Bank Facebook post to be entered to win a prize. One prize winner will be awarded FOUR tickets to a Boston Red Sox Game; valid for Saturday, April 29th at 4:10PM. NO ACCOUNT, OBLIGATION OR PURCHASE IS REQUIRED TO ENTER OR WIN.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. This contest, sponsored by Maine Community Bank, (“Sponsor”) is open to legal residents of Maine who are age 18 or older. No purchase or account is required to enter contest. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. Directors, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, subsidiaries, immediate family members and/or those with whom they are domiciled of Maine Community Bank (the “Bank”), are not eligible to enter the Contest. To be eligible, Contest participants must be natural persons at least 18 years of age and lawful residents of the United States at the time of entry and comply with these Official Contest Rules (an “Eligible Participant”). A current, valid US State ID, Driver’s License, US Passport, US Uniformed Services Card, or US Resident Alien/Permanent Resident Card must be presented to claim a prize. Each winner will be required to prove his or her eligibility before receiving a prize. No account, obligation or purchase is required to enter or win.The term “immediate family members” includes spouses, parents and step-parents, siblings and step-siblings, and children and stepchildren and grandparents and grandchildren, whether by blood, adoption, and/or marriage. The term “domiciled household members” refers to people who share the same residence at least three (3) months out of the year. Only one winner per household or family is permitted.
- Contest period
The Contest begins at 10:00AM on April 21, 2023 and ends at 11:59PM on April 23, 2023 Eastern Standard Time. All entries must be received by Maine Community Bank by 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time on April 23, 2023.Maine Community Bank is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, or incomplete entries. All entries shall be for this drawing only and will be disposed of after Contest completion of the contest.
- How to Enter
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS CONTEST. To enter in this contest, the participant must post the name of their favorite local charity in the comments on the appropriate Facebook post on the Maine Community Bank Facebook page. Eligible Participants may enter only once.A Participant, by commenting, certifies that he or she has complied with the terms of these Rules. Further, the winner of the Contest must comply with all requirements imposed by the Sponsor. or his/her participation in the Contest will be ineligible for consideration. All entries and photos become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned to entrants. Photographs may be manipulated. Incomplete or illegible entries are void. Non-compliance with any entry procedure or photo specifications will result in disqualification.
- Winner Selection & Qualification
On April 24, 2023, or at some later date determined in sole discretion of the Sponsor (the “Selection Date”), the winners will receive a message from the Maine Community Bank Facebook page with information on how to claim the prize.
- One prize winner will be awarded FOUR tickets to the Boston Red Sox Game scheduled for Saturday, April 29th at 4:10PM. Tickets are located in Section F35, Row K, Seats 1 – 4. Tickets will be transferred to the winner through StubHub Mobile Transfer.
- Decisions are final, unless later determined to be ineligible.The winner will be notified by the Selection Date indicated above, via Facebook from a Maine Community Bank representative.A selected entrant who has not successfully filled all the mandatory fields will be ineligible and will result in a new name being selected from the qualified entrants. The prize winner may be contacted by phone, email, or through social media, and will be required to complete and return a release form in order to redeem their prize. THE PRIZE WINNERS’ NAME MAY BE PUBLICLY ANNOUNCED.
Failure to respond or claim the prize within two (2) days will result in forfeiture of the prize and the Sponsor will randomly select an alternate winner. This process shall continue until the prize has been awarded. ALL WINNERS’ NAMES MAY BE PUBLICLY ANNOUNCED. Contest winners are responsible for payment of any local, state, or federal taxes assessed on any prize received.
SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SUBSTITUTE THE PRIZE WITH ANOTHER PRIZE OF EQUAL OR GREATER VALUE. PRIZE IS NOT REDEEMABLE FOR CASH OR CREDIT, IN WHOLE OR IN PART.
- General Terms & Conditions
By entering this Contest, entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final on all matters pertaining to the Contest. All Maine, federal and local laws and regulations apply. All taxes, fees, and surcharges on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. Return of the prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. By entering, participants release and hold harmless Sponsor, and its subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents (collectively, “Contest Entities”) from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the Contest, or from the use or acceptance of any prize.
The Contest winner is responsible for all expenses not covered or included with the prize. The Contest winner is under no obligation to use or redeem the prize. The Contest Rules will be posted on the Contest Web page throughout the Contest duration, except in the event of technical difficulties. Maine Community Bank reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or Contest Web page; to be acting in violation of the Rules; or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any person.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST WILL RESULT IN SEEKING DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. THE BANKRESERVES THE RIGHT TO JUDGE THE VALIDITY AND/OR ACCEPTABILITY OF ALL CONTEST ENTRIES BASED ON ITS INTERPRETATION OF THE RULES. THE BANK RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REMOVE CONTEST PARTICIPANTS AT ITS OWN DISCRETION.
- Limitations of Liability
Maine Community Bank is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest, or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions in the Contest. Contest Entities assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other reason which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this contest, Maine Community Bank reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE CONTEST SPONSOR BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL OR INDIRECT DAMAGES EVEN IF the bank HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
