Gratitude Campaign

Terms and Conditions

Eligibility

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. This campaign, sponsored by Maine Community Bank and its divisions, Biddeford Savings and Mechanics Savings (hereinafter referred to as “the Bank”), is open to legal residents of Maine who are age 18 or older. No purchase or account needed to participate. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.  The Bank, its directors, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, subsidiaries and their immediate family members and those with whom they are domiciled, are not eligible to participate in the campaign.

How to Participate

To participate in this campaign, the participant must complete the form found at https://www.mainecb.com/gratitude with who or what they are most thankful for.

The participant declares to have complied with the campaign terms. All submissions become the property of the Bank, and will not be returned to participants.

Campaign Period

The campaign begins March 1, 2021 (09:00 AM) and runs through May 31, 2021 (11:59 PM) (Eastern Standard Time).

All submissions must be received by May 31, 2021, at 11:59 PM in order to be included in the donation total. The Bank is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected or incomplete submissions. All submissions shall be for this campaign only and be disposed of after campaign completion.

Charitable Donations

For each qualifying submission received, $5.00 will be donated to a predetermined local nonprofit organization.

Each month, a donation will be made to the organizations specified below. The minimum donation to any individual organization will be $100.00. The maximum donation to any individual organization will be $500.00.

General Terms & Conditions

By participating in this campaign, participants agree to abide by the terms of these rules and the decisions of the Bank, which are final on all matters pertaining to the campaign. All Maine federal and local laws and regulations apply. By participating, participants release and hold harmless the Bank and its subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents (collectively, “Campaign Entities”) from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the campaign.

The campaign terms will be posted on the campaign web page throughout the campaign duration, except in the event of technical difficulties. The Bank reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that it finds to be tampering with the submission process or the operation of the campaign or campaign web page; to be acting in violation of the campaign rules; or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A PARTICIPANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CAMPAIGN IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND/OR CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE CAMPAIGN SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH CAMPAIGNANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
The Bank RESERVES THE RIGHT TO JUDGE THE VALIDITY AND/OR ACCEPTABILITY OF ALL SUBMISSIONS BASED ON ITS INTERPRETATION OF THE RULES. The Bank RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REMOVE CAMPAIGN PARTICIPANTS AT ITS OWN DISCRETION.

Limitations of Liability

The Bank is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the campaign, or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions in the campaign. Campaign Entities assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. If, for any reason, the campaign is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Campaign Entities which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this campaign, the Bank reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the campaign. Except as expressly warranted, the charitable donations are provided to the specified recipients “as is” without further warranty of any kind. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE CAMPAIGN SPONSOR BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL OR INDIRECT DAMAGES EVEN IF the Bank HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

You may unsubscribe at any time. Email addresses will be collected if the entry method includes that data. Terms and conditions may be updated or changed as necessary at any time.
