GETTING MY NEW MAINE COMMUNITY BANK DEBIT CARD(S)

When should I expect my new Maine Community Bank card(s) to arrive?
Your new Maine Community Bank Debit card(s) will be mailed early summer. Please continue to use your existing Biddeford Savings Debit card(s) until you have received and activated your new Maine Community Bank Debit card(s).

Will my debit card number change?
Yes. Your new Maine Community Bank Debit card(s) will be issued with new card numbers.

What can I do to make sure I get my new Maine Community Bank Debit card(s)?
Make sure the bank has your up-to-date mailing address, email address, and phone numbers. If you need to make a change to any of your contact information, please visit or call your nearest branch at 1-833-762-0313.

What if I am traveling or at a seasonal address and am not available to receive my new card(s) at my home address?
If you are traveling, you can continue to use your Biddeford Savings Debit card(s) through the fall. Your new card will be mailed to your seasonal address as long as you have it on file with the bank. If you need to make alternate arrangements, please contact the bank at 1-833-762-0313.

If I have more than one Biddeford Savings Debit card, will I receive all of my new Maine Community Bank Debit cards at one time?
Not necessarily. All Debit cards will be mailed in the same time frame, but will arrive in separate envelopes, possibly at separate times depending on mail delivery.

I currently have a primary and a secondary account linked to my Biddeford Savings Debit card. Will those accounts both be linked to my new Maine Community Bank Debit card?
Yes. Any linked accounts associated with your Biddeford Savings Debit card will remain the same on your new Maine Community Bank Debit card.

If I have multiple checking accounts, how will I know which Debit card is associated with which checking account?
The last 4 digits of your checking account number will be provided on the card carrier accompanying your new Maine Community Bank Debit Card to help you pair it with the correct account. If you need additional assistance, please call us at 1-833-762-0313.

I just received a replacement Debit card in the last few months. Which Debit card should I use?
If your current Biddeford Savings Debit card expired within the past few months, a replacement was sent to ensure you were not inconvenienced during this time. Once your new Maine Community Bank Debit card arrives, please activate that card as soon as possible and securely destroy your Biddeford Savings Debit card.

ACTIVATING MY NEW MAINE COMMUNITY BANK DEBIT CARD(S)

How do I activate my new Maine Community Bank Debit card(s)?
You can activate your new Maine Community Bank Debit card(s) any time by calling toll free 1-800-992-3808, at the time of activation you will be prompted to select a PIN for your new Debit card.

Will my PIN (Personal Identification Number) change for my new Debit card?
Yes. When you call to activate your new Personal, Business or Health Savings Account (HSA) Debit card, you will be prompted to select a PIN.

How long can I continue to use my Biddeford Savings Debit card(s)?
You can continue to use your Biddeford Savings Debit card(s) until you activate your new Maine Community Bank Debit card(s). Please note: All Biddeford Savings Debit cards will be deactivated in the fall.

What should I do with my Biddeford Savings Debit card(s) once I activate my new Maine Community Bank Debit card(s)?
Once your Maine Community Bank Debit card(s) is/are activated, you should securely dispose of your Biddeford Savings Debit card(s) by shredding it or cutting it up, so the numbers are unreadable.

USING MY NEW MAINE COMMUNITY BANK DEBIT CARD(S)

Will my new Maine Community Bank Debit card look like my current Biddeford Savings Debit card?
We are redesigning the Debit cards so your Maine Community Bank Debit card will arrive with a brand new look! To enhance the security of your Debit card, you’ll notice your card information is now located on the back of the card.

Will my new Debit card be contactless?
Yes. All new Maine Community Bank Debit cards will be contactless, which allows you to pay for your purchases at merchants that have contactless capable terminals, by simply tapping the card on the terminal. This is a way to pay in addition to inserting the card into the terminal.

Will I need to update my card information with merchants who have my debit card on file?
Yes. Your new Maine Community Bank Debit card(s) will have a new card number, expiration date, and security code. You will need to notify any service providers or merchants who regularly bill your card or have it on file (for example: Netflix, gym memberships, online shopping sites, etc.).

If I have my Debit card attached to Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Venmo or any other wallet, will I have to update my Debit Card information?
Yes. Your new Maine Community Bank Debit card(s) will have a new card number, expiration date, and security code. You will need to update the information within the wallet.

Will my previously established Online Banking debit card alerts transfer over to my new Maine Community Bank Debit card(s)?
Yes. Any alert preferences you have set up in Online Banking will transfer to your new Maine Community Bank Debit card(s).

Will my previously established MyCards alerts transfer over to my new Maine Community Bank Debit card(s)?
No, you will need to setup the alerts for your new card within the MyCards feature found in the Mobile Banking app.

Will there be any changes to the limits associated with my Debit card(s)?
No, your existing Debit card limits will remain the same.
